This is me:

Here is some information about me:

My name is Brian Scalese, and this is my web site. I was born on June 13, 1982, in Waltham, MA (where I currently live). In high school, I really got involved in the performing arts (musical theatre and show choir). This intrest in preforming for people actually started when I was five years old, preforming my "comedy routine" at family parties. In college, I joined an improvisational comedy troupe ("Absolute Improv"), and continued preforming, doing shows with the Curry College theatre program. I studied education, with the intention of becoming an elementary school teacher, but in the last two years of school decided that I would be a better fit as a librarian (where my creative talents could come into play). I went to grad school at Simmons College in Boston, where I graduated with a master's degree in Library Sciences in the Spring of 2006. I have also been working at Radio Shack as a sales associate since July of 2005. I still use my acting skills every day, by goofing around with my customers (you'd be surprised how well people have responded to my sense of humor...it really does help me sell things!).

What a job!

I am a sales associate at the River St. Radio Shack in Waltham, MA. I pride myself in NOT being the typical Radio Shack guy, who offers you a cell phone regardless of what you're actually looking for. Instead, I sell people what they come in the store looking for (I'm a revolutionary, I know!). Coincidentally, I'm also one of the top sales people in my store, and in both Waltham Radio Shacks!

Favorites

Rather than making an extensive list of my favorite movies, I'll just explain that I have had an life-long love-affair with the movie industry. I love the fact that a director can take you away from your own life (with all of it's troubles and problems), if but for only two hours. I also love the different emotions that can be evoked by really good actors.

Here's a list of some of my favorite music:

Bare Naked Ladies, Guster, James Taylor, Areosmith, Boston, Waltham The Band, Coheed and Cambria, Linkin Park, James Blunt, and more!
